Throughout my internship experience, I feel that I have grown immensely and gained more confidence. I also feel that I got a well-rounded experience, so I can be an entry level dietitian in any setting. I enjoy working with all age groups and I like to educate patients in the clinical setting. My goal is to eventually become a Certified Diabetes Educator. Dietitians are needed more than ever now due to obesity and chronic diseases. I strongly believe in being realistic, in terms of eating, and having patients and clients create their own goals. I also feel that a dietitian should be very patient and accepting of their patients and clients. I am excited about becoming a dietitian because I enjoy educating individuals and my goal is to help them lead successful lives.
